In Seven Words, a concept built by @weareedens to discover, empower and engage a community of creative retail talent.
Last year EDENS launched the concept in the Union Market District of Washington, DC, just in time for the winter holidays.
The name is inspired by Ernest Hemingway’s notoriously terse and efficient writing style, which was, in turn, inspired by his work as a newspaperman. Inside a 1,500-square-foot space at 1268 4th Street NE, adjacent to La Cosecha, In Seven Words hosts a collective of brands across various categories, offering a physical experiential platform for retailers and a canvas for everyday community experiences.
As storytellers, curators are invited to share a seven-word narrative as their point of view for the concept’s experiences, merchandise placements and visual media creations that evolve with seasonal and organic edits.
